Who we are
SqftQuote is a free home-project cost calculator at sqftquote.com. Privacy questions go to [email protected]. Set up that mailbox when the domain is live, before advertising is turned on.
What the calculators collect
Measurements you type stay in the page. They are not sent to a SqftQuote server, because the math runs in your browser. There is no account, no project history, and no analytics script shipped with the site. Closing the tab clears the numbers.
Cookies
The calculator itself does not set a cookie to remember your inputs. If you later enable advertising, the advertising partner can set or read cookies, including on other sites you visit, in order to show and measure ads. Those cookies are not required to use a calculator. You can refuse non-essential cookies in your browser, and you can turn off personalized ads.
Advertising and Google
Ad slots on the pages are empty labeled boxes. No ad network script is loaded today. The page source contains an HTML comment marking where the Google AdSense script will go after the site is approved.
When that script is added, Google will be the advertising partner. Google and other vendors it uses may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites. You can control personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Google’s description of the cookies it uses is at How Google uses advertising cookies. You can also opt out of some third-party cookies through the Digital Advertising Alliance.
The AdSense publisher ID is ca-pub-5433963658933926. The matching line is in ads.txt at the site root. Do not load the ad script until Google approves the site.
Children
SqftQuote is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect personal information from them. The calculators do not ask for a name, an address, or an age.
Changes
If advertising, analytics, or an account is added later, this page should be updated before that change goes live, and the date at the top should change with it. Questions go to [email protected].
